Just received via mail:
Mazda invitation for software update to prevent 12 V battery from loosing power, while staying connected to public charger long after fully charged.
A 12 V battery drained results in not being able to switch car in Ready modus.
Is this a known issue?
Is this also applicable to charging from home outlet?

It is known issue. An example on this forum was doors not locked (car in a garage) could cause a load on the 12v battery. There are other examples where ancillary components can cause an unexpected load. I assume if your car is plugged in charging at public chargers without a schedule then some communication and control between car and charger continues even when fully charged. Without any real knowledge I wonder if that communication and control may continue on your home charger unless you have a schedule set up on the car or your home charger. This software update manages that load to reduce the chance of 12v battery drain.

Now over to the experts on this forum for the real answer🤯
