Bit of a strange one this but is anyone suffering from the alarm ringing for maybe 5seconds randomly when plugged in? Its happened twice now at about 12midnight in having the car just over a month.
The alarm turns itself off after about 5seconds.

My alarm has gone off a few times for no obvious reasons. Each occasion seems to have been in different circumstances:
a) when I've pressed the close button on the key fob three times to initiate the extra theft protection mode
b) when charging ended
c) when the app wouldn't allow me to login and said I needed to update the app; Google Play said no update available; I deleted the app's cache memory but to not effect; I deleted and reinstalled the app - as soon as I reconnected with the car, the alarm went off at 1:15am

Dealer says their machine says the alarm hasn't gone off. OK, I say, but it did so what are you doing about it? No response. Back with the dealer to sort our parking sensors, door rattles and alarm issue. I have a new MX30 demo that also has the door rattles - design or manufacture issue?

Dealer (Edwards Mazda, Worcestershire) is now saying they need video evidence before they will involve Mazda. So next time the alarm goes off at 1:15am they expect me to video the car before turning it off; I'm sure the neighbours will be delighted! They say my written evidence is not good enough. They continue to tell me that their monitoring software is foolproof and it says that the alarm last went off at 34 days ago, but I was there 9 days ago with the alarm going off at 1:15am. I'm currently deciding my next steps - I may go directly to Mazda.

I'm having this problem also , happen on a few occasions and happen when charging stared last night at 00:30, its alo happened on a few occasions when charge completes , its really random but definitely activates the alarm and no hazards on all occasions.

After last night episode I googled the problem and found this forum , so there's definitely a bug in there software.
