Took delivery of ours today and enjoying the drive.

A little surprised it didn't come with car matts would something like this suffice:

adding a tip for your all. I was looking for a boot mat (given the car is rental and a dog is occasionally a guest!). I did not want to pay the extorsion price of Mazda (either the carpet or rubber one are both 60-80£). The good news is that our boot is rectangular (80x100cm). The other good news is that I found this website - that sells 80x100cm carpet rugs!
Ordered mine for 13.99£ delivered - super happy. The boot is not 100% regular shape so you either squeeze a couple of centimetres between the original mat and the rear seats, or you have 2 little folded flaps at the front sides. Said that - it is absulutely a perfect fit and at a bargain price. Mutiple design available (no judgement on your taste here!). It has an antislip back that keeps it in place and it is heavy enough to stay flat in place even with dog rattling around. Quality is decent (do not expect super soft or thick carpet). Apparently can be washed too...
I used this website a couple of times already and I can confirm they exist - they usually deliver in 7 days aprox from the Netherlands - and items are not bad given the price)

Im really really really happy with the rubber set, boot including the rubber for doorstorage so the bottles keep on their place. It pays the money back when u live on the country mud side like me. Easy to clean.
I can recommend these. I bought the whole set with 25%discount from some mazda internet shop in the Netherlands.

Works nicely with my seats colour too (the one for poor chaps with entry level trim!). There are many designs available anyway and then it's down to taste. Haven't washed it yet - lets see if it will dissolve! Dog not mine but often in the car which has been fully approved by the demanding guest!
