Hi All. I have a pod point charger at home. The last 2 times I have tried to charge, the green charging light comes on and then on the dashboard it says fully charged, (which it’s not). I can charge via the 3 pin plug cable in the garage but not via main cable and pod point. Any ideas?

Yes, look around there is a thread I started with this issue that Mazda is aware about.
The Fix is to update via MDARS at your local Mazda Dealer (Service Dept)
See my thread.. ;)

The fix is to recalibrate the PCMs software and this can be performed by your Mazda Dealer with MDARS.
As an owner you MUST complain of this Charging issue for the Dealer to perform update as it is not always automatic during servicing unfortunately.

If your MX-30 was made after April 2022 then this update does not apply and you should not have this charge issue.

Assumimg it worked previously does this also happen at public chargers such as Tesco podpoint. Ash8 may well be right but I am not aware of UK podpoint chargers having this issue so this may be an individual problem.

If it does not happen at other chargers then that rules out the cable. I would contact podpoint first if the cable is OK and charging elsewhere is also OK before going to the dealership. Podpoint should be able to do remote diagnostics on the charger.

This bulletin originated and applies to ALL UK and EU spec MX-30's
Quote TSB NUMBER: R077/22, First published to Mazda dealers on August 11th, 2022.

I don't guess anything and never rely on because one does not see or hear of issue that it does not exist.
Dare I say many owner may not even be aware that their Battery is not being fully charged.

VIN LAST 6 Digits
Starts 100001 to VIN last 6 digits 123989
Made from May 19, 2020 to Apr. 6, 2022.

So if your MX-30 falls between this VIN Number (UK) then I suggest you get Dealer to update PCM/ECU.
To fix this battery undercharge issue.
Claire if you wish to Message me your full VIN number I can check if your MX-30 falls in this category that requires and update, my guess is it does as you have had this issue.
The Dealer fix is free and easy, just a car computer update.

The MDARS Calibration File Part Number is
Right Hand Drive (UK)
MH10-186K2-J
Left Hand Drive
MH01-186K2-P
