Cargo Cover

Hi all,

New to this forum. We got a 2022 Mazda MX-30 premium plus but it didn't come with a cargo cover. What aftermarket ones would fit?
Since the MX-30 is based on the CX-30 will one be designed for that fit?

Are there generic ones that fit?

Also we will tint all the windows including the front. I didn't notice any film on the front for the Heads-Up display so I assume I can tint the front (clear)?

Did you get it from a mazda dealership and if so would they let try the cx30 cargo cover? as in try before you buy? UK wise we get it as standard with the car, assuming parcel shelf = cargo cover for the boot/trunk

Also be wary of the windscreen top centre behind mirror as some detectors are located there (forward sensing camera) on uk vehicles

Do not apply accessories, stickers or film to the windscreen near the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC).

If the area in front of the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) lens is obstructed, it will cause the system to not operate correctly. Consequently, each system may not operate normally which could lead to an unexpected accident.

Same happened for me! Just purchased a 2022 Mazda MX-30 Premium Plus and it didn't come with a cargo cover. I see online when you're building an MX-30 on Mazda's website there's a cargo cover made just for the MX-30 that's an additional $175 but I can't seem to find anywhere online where I can just buy the cargo cover by itself. I guess Mazda hasn't made the MX-30 accessories available on the accessories site yet? I was thinking of just contacting the dealership and see if they can order one for me.

I noticed MX-30 reviews on youtube have the cargo cover (tornneau cover) on the cars from reviews based in Europe where the car has been sold for a while. All the new MX-30 reviews in the US don't have the cover. Maybe related to the supply problems?
I even tried looking on E-bay at international sellers but couldn't find any :(

Oh man! Good catch on the review videos. I contacted the dealership I leased the car from asking about the cargo cover and they said: "I just spoke to my parts manager and it looks like they are not yet available. He said he is going to keep me posted on when they will start being available. I will keep you posted as well! 😊" - so it looks like we're out of luck for a while!

US owner here. I tried a cover made for CX-30 and it doesn't quite fit. That cover is about 1" too narrow and the notches for the mounting posts along the back end are aligned differently. By adding some plastic bits to the mounting posts on my car I'm sort of making this one work until I can track down a better fitting one.

A helpful MX-30 posted this in the FB group. It seems to fit. I eventually decided against it since with my tinting, you cannot see through the window anyway lol

Ask your (US) dealer for part # DN4J-68-310A-02. tray, Rear Package

Yeah, I looked for one all over. I even went to a UK site for parts and it’s not even available there. The USA models did not come with one but the UK and AU models did.
It would be nice to have it you could wire up some nice speakers there.

I remember I had an old 323 hatch with speakers there on that tray.

Go to a Mazda dealer and ask for that part#. It'll show up as a Cargo TRAY, not COVER. But as you can see in the picture, it works.

Hi,

Thebriggie just pointed out to me that the tray I bought could well serve as a load cover as well.
.. it only doesn't lift up.. Its not available in the Netherlands any more, where I bought it.

Germany has it, at € 109 - , far below what I paid.. :mad:

Hello,
I called parts at my dealership (Los Angeles, CA, USA) and they found the cargo cover made for the MX-30. It’s part # DN4J-68-310B-02
And the part name is “Tray, Rear” even though it’s a cargo cover. The price was $227 but I showed him the Mazda website has it advertised as $175 so he discounted it for me.
