Did the warnings stop? We drove the car for 20 miles to Newbury on advice from Mazda assist but the warning was constant.
The app tells us the drivers door has been opened just once in the time they’ve had it……
We‘ve escalated it to Mazda uk as no one in Newbury has been in touch.
pretty poor all round tbh……

Really sorry to read about your less than stellar experiences with your new Mazda. You just dont expect this from Mazda. Shit happens and all, but still.
IF they keep it for a long time it could mean they go all in or it just sits in the yard. Anyways, they have to fix this pronto. If not you have to tear up the contract and get your money back. Not from the UK but here in Sweden would play hardball if the dealer did not take this 200%
seriously. Did you get a loaner for free?

Heard today that it’s a faulty charging unit. Unsure how major that is. Mazda are apparently aware of the fault on some cars.
They did offer us a loan petrol car last week but as there was no fuel to be had we decided against it, and just used my work van.
If all goes well they’ll be delivering the car back to us on Friday……. We shall see…….

An EV you cant charge sounds more like garden gnome than a car. As long as they fix it all is well. Its gonna be fine. Sounds like good news.
No fuel to be had??? What the heck are you guys up to? Thats beyond weird that s über weird.

Remember, the total ullage volume in the ICE cars tanks of most developed counties is typically equal to about 10 days fuel demand. The JIT fuel supply assumes that the ullage volume will remain broadly stable. If you induce panic buying amongst even 40% of drivers, they will quickly strip all the fuel from petrol stations. Just for info, 2 other major European economies are more finely balanced than the UK was before the panic. Social media users think!

Totally understand your frustration. We had a Mini plug in hybrid that did not charge the way it should. Started contemplating forwarding my mail to the BMW/Mini dealer. The good part was that you did get to drive loads of new BMWs. If you are into cars that is not necessarily a bad thing. CX-30 Skyactiv X 180 hp petrol with auto is a sweet drive. Mazda 6 2.5 l 193?hp is also super comfy and seriously spacious. You might as well make the most of it. In our case it was a circuit board that needed changing. Incidentally an electric chair problem in our MX 30 turned out to be a faulty circuit board as well. New cars are just too damned complicated. Dont despair. They will sort it out. Eventually🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi Fred,
They have to keep you posted, up to date, surely? Are they waiting for parts? Do they know what s wrong? What's going on? If you just took delivery consider swapping to another MX-30? UK is different blablabla but how different can it be? This is a mystery.

So far I’ve been told……..
We don’t have the staff
We don’t have the part
We don’t have the ‘special’ tools
We don’t have specific EV ppe
Theres another vehicle blocking the EV bay……..

the list goes on.

Quite happy with the loaner tbh but they are really taking the piss now,
