Car will not charge at a higher rate than 7kw even when using a fast charger and don’t know why

When you say fast charger I assume you mean the dc charger 50kw plus type that plugs in using ccs connection, is that correct? (The mx30 has a 40kw dc max limit and a 6.6kw ac limit)

If dc charging at what soc are you starting at? Is it more than one dc charging location?

yes ccs 50+ Dc charger but car only taking 6.8kw
car was at 30% charge at start did not go above 6.8kw

Has it happened on different DC chargers at differing locations and from different suppliers? This will eliminate these variables including cable connection.

If so something is restricting charge. Could be resistive signalling issues. As you probably know the only setting is AC or DC charge limit % but not rate of charge. The car and charger determine that.

After all that the only way to know is a visit to dealer 😡 to check the car assuming they have DC charging capability to aid diagnostics I would have thought...
