Did anyone notice the clicking and rattling sound from the upper left corner of the driver's door and the upper right corner of the front passenger's door while driving on a bumpy road? If I insert my fingers between the door rubber and the body, the sound will stop ... but thats not a permanent solution :) . Thanks in advance.

Yep sure did. It comes and goes but worst on uneven roads. If you press the door panel with your elbow it goes away. My dealer will look into this shortly. He noticed the same problem in his demo car. Plan is to remove the panels and try to figure out what causes the rattling. It seems to be present in loads of MX 30s. Good news, it should be possible to fix hopefully on warranty. You are not alone! And you have the sprit of a noisy samurai in your Mazda door😃

Yes! It’s been fixed by the dealer.
Mine was on the drivers side though and the fix was a vertical adjustment of the lockbox in relation to the hoop/bracket. This applies to a sound appearing mostly from the panel where the seatbelts attach.

I occasionally still have a subtle rattle from within the drivers door that goes away when pressing on the
entire inner panel of the drivers door, this new “ micro” rattle has still to be investigated though. Some seems to got rid of it by “lubing” the rubber beads with silicon.

Greetings!
Daniel

I had it only once, it immediately disappeared after I opened and closed the door.

Hi all,

I have had my mx-30 for about a month now and i also have these anoying clicking sounds from the passenger side door. I went back to the dealership but of course the clicking was dead quiet during the test drive with the salses representative. I will try to go back next week to show them again.

Does anybody know if there is a fix for this problem that Mazda them selfs have issued?

If so, it wil be easy for me to inform the dealership about this and force them to correct the problem.
