Hi, we picked up our new MX-30 3 days ago, love the ride and the way it drives. Having a few struggles with the Granny charger we think where the car says 'charging failed, get car inspected' after about 30mins of charging. Hope we can get this sorted or it may be a very short ownership!

I had a similar issue initially with that cable, but it did seem to sort itself out; so hope yours has done the same.

Thanks for the reply. The dealer was good enough to give us a charger from their demonstrator so that we did not have to wait on the spare arriving. Now two weeks on it has been fine. Hopefully we will get the new 7kw charger installed later this week.

Hi Evan I have the 7k charger but I hardly use it. To be fair I don’t do a lot of mileage so I bang it on the granny on a time switch. This suits my needs so I think if you do a lot of mileage especially if you use it to get to work every day then the 7 k charger is a must have.
