I pick mine up on the 3rd September. Does anyone know the length of the type 2 cable that comes with the car?

Thanks, yes this will be my first EV but a long term Mazda owner, I know the range is an issue for alot of people but I think it should be fine for most of my journeys. Looking forward to getting it.

Mine came with a mennekes type2 cable which I assume is Mazda standard, and supplied with the vehicle in the uk. Approx 4.1m including plugs remove .2 for each plug which means actual cable is 3.7m approx. If anyone got supplied something else please post details. Hope that helps

Apologies I forgot to measure the cable as per my earlier post.

Hello there from St Asaph, it can be a stretch with the supplied cable as it is only about 4M long. you can buy 10M ones online but they start at approx £100!

Thanks for that Stephen, if my house passes the online survey for the free wall charger then I think I'll get a 7.5m tethered cable fitted to the wall charger. That would be enough cable for me, 4m is most likely enough for charging away from home, I doubt they put chargers too far from parking bays.

No most chargers out there are easily long enough and frankly many have tethered cables anyway. All you need to consider is to reverse or drive in to the bay.
