Hello,

Just got my new MX-30 yesterday.
Had 2000 euros "discount" because of government support for electric car purchase. Also no tax, which hopefully is confirmed in January 2022, so another 860 euros "save".
Primary usage is to drive to work 38 kilometers one way so 76 km per day which is just perfect for the range.
Just enjoying the idea of reduction in 'fuel' costs while the price of 95E10 is close to 2 euros per liter.
We also have Mazda CX-30 with Skyactive-X engine.
My eye just appreciates kodo and I also really enjoy jinba ittai. ;)

This color... I have been in doubt for long time between this and matrix grey and eventually went for the latter, mainly because I didn't like the contrast with the black plastic below.
But under some light conditions I still find the polymetal such a stunning color.
Welcome btw!

I saw this color on Mazda 3 and loved it so much I had to have it. In Finland with the Tech Edition we have (apparently) only 3 options: ceramic white, polymetal grey and soul red. Since our CX-30 is soul red and I do not want white car, I really had only one option. I like the kind of "industrial" look with the polymetal grey color.

And after just 5 days with MX-30, I love it. I like the way it feels and how it sounds. For me car has been just a way to get from point A to point B. Oh, still is, but driving can be also fun and make you feel happy in such many levels.

And thanks to this forum there has been no big surprises with the car.

Next thing I have to solve is the home charger. Now I charging it at home with the standard shuco-socket and it's kind of slooooooow, really sloow.

Congrats Janne. Compliments on your excellent colour choice. Hyvää Soumi. Think I worked out that about a year ago you could basically buy a CX 30+MX 30 for the price of a Tesla 3. In West Finland a k a Sweden. Finland used to be called East Sweden ages ago so that must make Sweden West Finland? Partly Finnish. Njoy!!!

I have been getting these EV-system malfunctions. Had the car checked and the reason is some "flaps" malfunction in the front. Can't handle the snow and slush.
Also not really happy with the fact that car is not warming up when temperature goes below -20 Celsius. Bit better after software update, but still like driving with a fidge when it's cold outside.
Emergency lane keeping is a pain with the snowy roads. And apparently there is no way of getting if off permanently? I hate that alarm sound. That feature does not work as it should.

I had the same problems from time to time when the snow was still present. The front got covered very easily which disabled several functions.
I have never experienced such low temperatures here so I don’t know if the battery heater will start at-15 as it is said to do.
My main problem right now is the charge limiter which is not working. I set the limit for AC at for example 80%. The charging stops but restarts after a minute or so, and it keeps doing the same all the way until the battery is charged at 100%. I wonder if Mazda takes this in consideration if my battery wears out faster….
