Hi,
My name is Emanuel Marques, I live in Oeiras, Lisbon and i am a happy owner of a 2021 Mazda MX-30, after all this car is also portuguese since it has portuguese cork in it.
Despite the limited range I bought this car for the monday to friday short rides, keeping a diesel car for the weekend big trips.
Despite that, I've done a few 700km trips with it, having reached 17500km in these first 12 months.
Last week did the first maintenance service, having paid only 95.70€... a value never seen before in a combustion car service.
Greetings to all,
Emas (EM)

Hello EMAS,
I Will buy a new Mazda mx30 in the begining of the new year. For small trips I haven't problems, but if I need to do a bigger trip and if I need to charge the batery on a fast charger, do you know the cost? Thanks you

Hi João,

I bought my MX-30 last December and I'm really enjoying it. I did 25000km until now and I have charged out of home 5 times... The cost is not fixed and it depends on charger operator and/or yours operator but I can say it costs 8 to 12 € to charge it from 20 to 80%.
You can start installing some Apps on your phone that are very useful like Miio (it works almost every charger in Portugal but also in Spain and France) , ABRP (router planner), Evio, Continente Plug and Charge (nice charging price) , Via Verde (nice charging price)...

Thank you Marco, and about the CEME, what kind of operator do you use?
I have doubts about some points:
- should I charge to 100%? Mazda told me there is no problem, because MX 30 has a segurity system. they said something like that "100% batery for us (painel) is 80% of the real capacity of the batery, is it true?
-to charge at home, should I buy a wallcharge? Or if I use a normal power plug it works?
- how many km can you do?

Thank you again

Since I charge it 99.9% at home I don't worry about it... I use Miio or ViaVerde default CEME.

I don't know.... By default I charge it at 80% and at 100% at least one time a month. Everybody says to keep the battery between 20 and 80%... After one year of use I don't realize any king of battery degradation.

I use de normal power plug. It charges during the night at out of peak tariff. It charges slowly which is good for the battery.
- how many km can you do?
My daily average km are 90Km

Thank you Marco,

At home, to charge 20-80% of batery, do you know the cost? +/-
And the km, can we do 200-265km? like mazda say?
For a normal day, this doesn't matter, but for weekend, if I wanto to make a traver, like 160km (total), can I go without problems? or maybe when I arraive at the place, should I charge?

thank you

Hi,

The charging cost at night (out of peak tariff) is +- 0,168€ per Kw. To make 100Km you will need 15Kw average, ie, 2,53€ for 100Km.
You can trust in 200km... And yes you can go and make a travel of 160km without changing.

Hi Frederico here from Lisbon, I've my MX-30 for 1.5 years and i really love the car. I mean add 100 km to the range and for me it was the perfect car! Nice and comfy, great tech, good performance.

Usually I get from 15.8 to 16.2 kwh/100km with speeds between 50 km/h and 100 km/h, so around 200 km per week, charging twice a week at the office.

For bigger trips on a highway i get around 18.5 kwh/100km so stopping every 1.5h to charge is a must.

Very proud to see our cork being applied in such a beautiful way!
