Thanks. Compared to the Mini Countryman the ride is a lot better and more relaxing. It is probably one of the nicest rides of all the cars I have owned. It glides over bumps and is very smooth when accelerating. It must be better as the dog stands up more now in the back, which she never used to in the Mini for the fear of getting thrown about.

I have owned the MX30 for 4 months now…..the gliding and silent motion is one of the best things about the car however in the last week or so both side windows have started to rattle and it seems to be getting worse. It sounds like a minor niggle but I enjoyed the silence when driving! Hope yours stays silent….please let me know if you have any niggles in the coming months….

Totally agree with everything in your post except the rattle seems to come from the seatbelt casings. My car goes into the dealer tomorrow to try and fix it
