Hi

I am have problems finding out how long the charging cables are that come with the mx30.

I am hoping to have me charging point fitted so it’s visible from my house ( detached garage) but I’m worrying the cable may not be long enough from the car to the charger. I have gone for a none tethered charger.

Hope someone can help. I’m the U.K.

The supplied type 2 cable (from your charger to the car) is 4.1m

Won't span much more than 3.5 metres though: lead leaves both plugs vertically down. You can buy much longer leads on line. I use 7.5 metres cost £156 and leave the shorty in the car in case I ever need it on the road.

Approx 7.8m in total take away .3 roughly for the car connector so about 7.5m usable length

Julie, just to be clear and to avoid confusion that's for the standard 13amp home plug charging cable supplied with the car not the charger charging cable which has only about 3.5m usable length

Thanks for your reply. . We are having the home charged fitted tomorrow (hopefully) we don’t get our new car until the end of this month, so we have been unsure of the length of cable ( car to home charger). If not long enough we will buy a longer cable.
