In the settings you can tilt the HUD projection. But even in the most 'left' tilting, it still slants 10-degrees tot the right.

As an engineer, I suspected it had some simpel screw adjustment for the support the module is mounted on.
But the dealer mechanic says there is no such adjustment. It comes as a sealed box which they can only swap.

Anybody recognizes this problem ? Maybe put some shims under the module to adjust ?

I don't think a picture helps since there is no reference. I use the edge of the sidewalk when I am parked, that's the level reference.

So in settings tilt is set to middle? If so it's a fixed unit which would need dealer calibration or replacement as you are well aware tilt can only do so much

No, not in the middle. Tot the extrem left ( value 5 ). I guess I would need an '8' to get it level, if the scale would go that far up.

I worked it out !

I store my chair settings under memory "1". If I lock the car and return, the "-5" tilt stays.
When my son uses the car (seat memory 2), it sets tilt to "0"..

When I then choose seat memory "1" again, it stays on "0"..

So now I set the chair to "2" , went into the menu, adjusted also here the tilt to "-5" , stored it under seat memory "2".

You can see if you have the right button sequence , should met set-2 , with 2-set it jumps back to "0" ,
if you leave the display in the menu ( do press the rotator once, move to another setting en enter there..),
then you press 'set' : it jumps to "0"..

So now I stored "-5" for the HUD tilt in both seat memories.. ..and it remains -5 no matter if I cange to seat memory 1 or 2..

I also checked, but in "-5" for me it still looks a bit leaning to the right, but thats not true.

Did you do this? This will save hud for each driver if that is what you set.
Start car and go to settings. Go to active driving display and adjust setting for driver 2 for example. Remember to press central knob to save each setting. Now adjust the seat position for driver 2. Press set on seating Saving option until single tone heard then press 2 until single tone heard. That should save both settings. The sequence is always hud setting first (and keep setting screen up during the process to check setting is set) then seat setting then set button then save to 1 or 2 button.

Remember to press central knob to save each setting.

This is where I went wrong the first few times. Then I was flabbergasted taht after 5 restarts it suddenly jumped back.
The only difference was that the seat had been switched to the other memory setting. That's what put me on the track of this solution.

Very odd setup. Ain't used to Japanese mindset.
