I have looked at all the possible screens, including the car, the app and the podpoint app, I cannot seem to find the rate of charge that is being provided to the car other than % to full and time. No kwh rate.
If anyone knows different please let me know. It would be most helpful

I recently went to a local podpoint and the car displayed roughly 2 hours to give me 15 % ( to get to 90% ). Moved the car to the next one along and it gave me roughly 45 minutes to get the same 15%. Called podpoint and they could see the first charger was only supplying around 2kwh. This equates to 2.3 ish kwh on one and the full 6.6 kwh the car can take on the other.

It would have been good to see it displayed without doing the arithmetic in my head.

I created this small note on my phone as a very rough guide ( and I do mean rough) to save my remaining brain cells and to give me a quick rounded up/down estimation of roc. If anyone wishes to provide a more accurate guide please feel free!

6.6kwh charge rate
.11kw per min
Roughly 20% per hour
10% per 30 minutes
5% per 15 minutes
Granny charger 2.3 kwh rate
.038 kw per minute
Roughly 7.5% per hour
3.75% per 30 minutes
1.9% per 15 minutes

As stated if someone knows where to find this in the car/mazda app that would be great

Darren, interesting that it says 7.8kw over 1 hour 27 minutes not roc.. so on that basis it is not rate of charge but total power supplied which would mean about 5.3 kwh rate doing the maths. Would that be correct? That to me means retrospective not immediate roc? On start up does it immediately show a charging rate that matches the car?

Hi. I'll check next time I use the app, but I thought the charging rate was initially fluctuating, as it started around 2-3 kwh and then went up to around 7kwh, but saying that and reading the screen shot again, it does appear to be total charge not rate. Thanks

It's annoying that it doesn't. My wife has driven the Audi Q4 and Volvo C40 - both show the charge rate on the app. Surely it's just an enhancement needed to the Mazda software?

The Gridserve chargers at Rugby Services show the rate of charge on the charger screen (tritium chargers). Always feel a bit guilty using a 350kw charger and getting 17kwh charge in the winter!! The new Osprey chargers also show rate of charge on your phone if you scan the QR code on the charger.
