Just wanted something a bit bigger and with more range. My office is only a 26 mile round trip but being in Yorkshire it’s all up and down hills each way. I seem to have to charge the car every couple of days. At the moment with the temperature around 6 degrees I am only getting 104 miles with a 100% charge.
I really like the look of the Mach e and the higher driving position Plus I anticipate the range will be nearer to 280 miles, not the 379 that they advertise.
I really cannot fault my first edition MX-30 I have 7000 miles now on the clock and I am sure I am going to miss it.
I am fortunate that I still have a few petrol engine cars that I can use as well.
I must say though that the electric car bug has definitely bitten me.
Just hope the Mach e will be as trouble free as my Mazda has been.
I have 8-12 weeks before the car is delivered so I will see what sort of trade in price they offer me.
We buy any car have offered me only £1500 less than what I paid for it last August so that’s good news.

Well after 7 months ownership I have decided to trade in my MX-30 for an extended range Ford Mustang Mach e .

I hope I am doing the right thing as despite the door rattle issue I have enjoyed the Mx-30 ownership experience.
It's good to read that you've enjoyed your time with the MX; - I daresay you'll find the extra range of the Mach e useful and I hope you find it to be an enjoyable drive too. I haven't tried one myself but I like the look of them.

I've been following the Munro Live EV Teardowns (Sadly no MX-30, and considering Mazda have just used an off-the-shelf Hitachi/Panasonic powertrain I doubt we'll see one), and he has some great info on the Mach E... Looks like Ford have invested heavily into the tech!
