Hi, let me get my apologies in first if I am just being stupid.

Mazda state that with mymazda app set up I can remotely control certain functions on the car such as climate control, charging remotely etc. (I get the status and alerts on my smartphone).
This would be useful for example in the winter to prepare the car. However I cannot find an idiots guide to get this set up and working. Playing with the the app and the car settings etc. doesn't illuminate my cranium. I am now looking for members assistance to point me in the right direction. The owners manual (I do not have the patience to read every word in every section) mentioned it but did not seem to give me a meaningful step by step fools guide. For example on mymazda app I cannot get the climate setting to go active, they are greyed out.

Also looking for my mazda connect users guide for the mx30 on line doesn't throw anything up.

I throw myself open to the mercy of the members forum...all help welcome

Press and hold "fan" pic. Then setup required temp and send a command to a car.
Same press and hold logic for start/stop charging.

Thank you, tested as per your instructions and as expected it worked a treat. I am a newby on this site so your quick assistance really shone through.

Thebriggie snap, a lot of stuff my grey matter takes a long time to register as if I’m still using windows 3. I just keep scrolling down & members come up with solutions brilliant. By the way going for Octopus will let you know how I get on. Another ask, how does one start a new thread, sorry but this is my first time on any forum.

You should have a cloud bubble with new in it next to the magnifying symbol at the top of the page . Click on that and that should take you to open a new thread..try it and see how you get on.

Then pick which Forum you want the post to be on...general discussion for example and that should open up a text entry box etc.

I can't see a fan pic in the app, where should it be? All I have is the remote charge start / stop, I'm assuming the alarm to the left of it and the door locks to the right

On that remote screen swipe left. (I can't remember if you need to have the car plugged in) The fan should be white indicating ready

Hold down to set message..try it. If that doesn't work tell ms

Thanks, looks like swiping takes me to a picture of a car seat with nothing else on there... maybe just doesn't work on the base model?

Below seat should be fan on to the left, Off to the right. Are they greyed out or just not there?

They literally aren't there, it's just a picture of the seat

Does your app screen look like this on home page with remote white? (Ignore Moon alarm bell etc top right)

Yeah, with the exception of your phone theme its identical... mine may be a bit taller as I'm on a Note 20 Ultra

OK, will root about. All models irrespective of spec should have connected services including remote charging, climate control and status

The reason I ask is this in the mazda connect manual

he remote air-conditioning may not
be available depending on the

Maybe stupid question but... Did you activate remote control in settings in the app?
