i have a 2014 Mazda 6 itouring. I have set my memory seats in the position i like them. The issue i am having is when i unlock my car & open the door, my seat moves to something different then what i have set it in the memory. I have gone through the instructions of switching the car off, holding set until i hear a beep, then holding down 1/2 until i hear a beep, and then holding the unlock button on my key to program them all to be the same SEVERAL times. I have tried this with the car on and off. I am getting frustrated because everytime i unlock my car and get in my Seat is sitting up TOO HIGH! I don’t want the seat to move up at all! How can i fix this? How do i get my seat to not go up everytime i unlock and open my door???? I do not have a problem with the seat not setting in memory, the issue is unlocking and opening the door the seat moves to something different but when i push either 1/2 on the settings it changes to what i have set them to

Silly question but have you done this first? This is for the MX30 (this forum) so I don't know if this applies to your car. I assume the Mazda6 forum cannot assist?

Erasing programmed driving positions
Erasing the driving positions
programmed to the key
1. Switch the power switch OFF.
2. Press the SET switch continuously
until a sound is activated.
3. Press the lock switch on the
transmitter within 5 seconds after
the sound is activated.

Sorry. I assume dealership can't help assuming they are the original keys, and neither key makes any difference?

Individual seat positions can be
programmed to the two available
programming buttons on the side of the
driver's seat, plus one seat position for each
registered key.

Found this on the mazda 6 forum. Could there be a key or car issue beyond configuration one wonders? Have you replaced the key battery for example?

Do you have the car on (i.e. running) and the parking brake on? In my 2018, I have to do that for the memory seat programming function to work correctly.

As a side note, I turned my memory seat position off for my keys as the memory position would "drift" over time. It seems like every time I would unlock the car, the seat would move ever so slightly if it was already in that memory seat position. And then after a few weeks, the seat would be up higher than where I had it and I would have to reprogram both the button on the seat and remote back to the position I wanted. Very annoying! Even then, it doesn't always hold my setting and I often have to reprogram the button on the seat to go back to where I had it.
