I'm having some troubels with the mobile phone bluetooth / android auto connection in my MX30.
A handsfree call starts fine, but after a few minutes it looks like it's loosing connection.
When i disconnect the bluetooth connection during the call, the connection is back fine.
Are their others having the same problem.

Marcel, as you no doubt know this whole area is a minefield...android auto versions, android phone versions, cached data, low quality USB leads etc.etc.馃く...the list goes on! Hence I suspect the lack of clear easy answers to your question

I don't have the issue in my vehicle with my phone to answer you question. No call drop outs or lost sound, poor connections etc.

So does it also occur if another phone is set up using android auto using a different USB lead and used as the primary phone or is it just your phone? That would be my starting point. Apologies if you tried that and it still happens.

Good luck 馃

To my understanding Android Auto needs a cable connection. My experience of AA is that AA is unnecessary nuisance, especially in entering destinations. So no AA for me. If BT drops, start with resetting your phone. If this still produces mediocre results, try another phone. In my experience the BT connection has worked very well. Gigantially better than in cx5.
