Actually yeah . I'm not a fan having it ingaged when driving on the highway . I'm assuming most people don't use it on the highway . But getting off at exits and just driving on streets I already got used to using the left paddle to slow down. Then going back to normal drive 👌🤙
The other benefit to the regen is the lack of brake wear - I just had my first service where the admin staff expressed surprise that there was only 10% wear on the pads after 10,550 miles or so. "That'll be the regen" I said. "The what?" they said. :)
Around town - most of my driving - I tend to use the regen on full most of the time as it keeps the power usage down - try keeping your foot still/speed constant and flicking through the options from full to none - the power draw will rise even on flat roads. On longer runs, or faster roads, I tend to go with the cruise control and find it pretty good.
