Hey MX-30 owners!

I want to ask you guys what tips do you have to clean the interior of your sweet ride, my biggest concern is the leather on the dashboard, i cant seem to pick up the dust on it.
Tried different wipes and microfiber towel with no luck. I'm afraid to purchase a cleaner without knowing if it will destroy the leather or not.

Has someone done this with success?

Re dash I would try a microfiber cloth with warm soapy water first. Just dampen the cloth don't soak it. That's worked for me. Use mild dish soap and warm water to clean vegan leather, then go over what you’ve cleaned with a cloth dampened only with water, so you aren’t leaving a soapy film. Be sure you choose a natural soap product that doesn’t contain anti-bacterial or degreasing agents, as they can dry out vegan leather over time. Although water won’t damage artificial leather surfaces, you should still dry it with a fresh cloth to avoid water spots. The plastic bits just need a damp cloth no soap. As for the upholstery and door material I have sealed it with dodo juice to stop stains penetrating the material and sealed the cork with rustoleum crystal clear just as an extra precaution from sprogs sticky little fingers! Hoping this reduces the cleaning of these bits to just a vacuum.

Anyone else got any handy tips worth sharing?

Get the dust on the dash with a Swiffer! Works great! I always just keep it in the glove box and whip it out from time to time to get the dust. For wiping anything down on the interior it says to only use a damp soft cloth or if you need something with a little more cleaning power than you can do a 5% dish soap/water solution and a soft cloth. That's it! You can't use anything else according to the owner's manual. Don't use alcohol wipes or any cleaners as they will damage the interior.

The dealership I bought my MX-30 from said that Mazda mixed the cork with a clear putty-type material so that it's not porous and can easily be wiped clean. I guess you got double the protection now! Haha.
