I think the fake engine sound is a little different now compared to when I got the car. Not as loud.
Is this something Mazda included in an update?
I still prefer it disabled though. 😎

I’ve seen reports elsewhere that the “engine noise” has been made more subtle in one of the updates.

We also had a update just before Xmas, I like the fake engine noise, but most of the time I don’t hear it, do love to blast my Bose with my car playlists.
what was interesting was we took friends out in our car, they bought a new Mazda just before we got our Mx30 they could not believe how smooth it was and said they really loved the ride, we had a automatic Mini Countrymen before this car and we loved how it drove, but this is a much smother ride. Best of all we don’t do many miles but have done 403 miles to date with approx 30 range left today, and we have spent less the 60 pence in just over a month to charge the car!
