This a known issue on previous mazda's! See this re cx30. It also seems some people have disconnected the negative terminal of the 12v battery for a few minutes and this clears it. Some others have checked 12v battery voltage to confirm it is not low as they suspect this can also cause it. Dealer here you come! P.s I had to chase up dealer for s/w updates as I suspected that it would be a long wait if I expected them to be proactive. It is getting updated as I type.
I drove my new cx30 for the third day. Today I am seeing this message. "In-vehicle Network malfunction. Have the Vehicle inspected." Has anybody seen this before? The service department isn't opened and I will contact them tomorrow.
Many thanks for the information. I have contacted the dealer Mazda in Stockport. I also mentioned the car might be due a software update.
Someone from the service dept will ring me back. (I hope its before Christmas).
I will update when things have been rectified.
Set of to the office this morning ,fault has disappeared. Mazda dealer never called me back yesterday so will see how it goes. I still haven’t received a letter regarding the recall for a software update.
JohnG123 I have had a recall from Mazda RRG Stockport. Given an appointment for 30/12/21. Not sure if you deal with them but they do seem to know about it.
