MX30, 7000miles on the clock, went in for a service and i mentioned it was making a weird noise, turns out the motor and reducer. Anyone else had issues where motor has needed replacing?

No but this would 100% be covered by the warranty!
Also, well done! I didn’t think it was possible to push the MX-30 hard enough to wear anything out so quickly.

Yes its covered under warranty and in no way whatsoever has the car been driven hard. Average between 3.5 to 4.0 miles per kw, its mainly driven by my girlfriend, very gently. Its also been with mazda for 3 months last year to fix an alarm issue. The rattle always comes back too. In my experience this has been the biggest waste of 30k ive ever spent on a new car, i hate it! Weve experience the courtesy car almost as much as our own.

Mazda change the motor of my MX-30 2020 model with 15000 km covered by the warranty. The car began to do a “zum, zum…” noise when it flow in very low velocity. After a week in the dealer, they comunicated me that Mazda indicated change the motor. Actually, with 25000 km, all it’s ok.
