Hi there,

I just bought a MX 30 GT at the end of September.
I’m loving it, but last week I notice a noise coming from the motor every time I turn on the car. I’m 100% sure that it was not like that before, but I also realized that the car usually makes the noise when the fan/ac is on. At the beginning I had to turn off and wait a few seconds to turn on the heater/ac. Now no matter what it takes a few minutes for the noise to stop.

anyone had the same issue?

Hi! I have noticed this morning, for the first time, a strange intermitent noice when I turned on the engine. The temperature was around 5 degrees during the night, maybe is related to... My wife uses the car daily, so i'll keep observing this issue.

The heat pump and fan make a noticeable sound when you have any heating/demisting etc. on. Could it be that? It does not need fan or a/c to kick in and start making the noise.

I have listened for 2 mornings and I did'nt notice any strange noise anymore so I supose to that fan was on and/or heat pump în function.

I've observed this since last year. It happens only when the weather turns colder so I guess it's something to do with heating. In any case it stops doing that noise after running a few hundred meters.

Hi,
It might be the heat pump starting to warm battery and other components. Maybe with cold temperature, was it minus 5° Celsius by then? Or less than 5°C if cold mode activated.
