Hi all, this morning I went shopping so I thought I’d go to Tesco & get a bit of free juice while er indoors did the shop. Well what a performance, got the app up plugged everything in & could I get it working, no chance. After a bit of frustration & head scratching I looked at the charger pod point looked at the app I had open box pulse. Mm moral of story check you have the correct app open for the charger you are using. Ha ha never told er indoors, just told her everything was sweet, well you never tell her when you mess up eh. Any body ever done this or am I the only muppet. Just waiting for Alan’s reply ha ha…

Is there a way to check the charge speed (kW) or total charge (kWh) on the app or on the car display?
We all know that the max charge is 6.7 kW on Type 2 chargers. Just charged publicly just twice so far.

Seb, there is no way to see what real time kwh is being provided to the car via the app or the car display. I think this is an oversight by Mazda personally. Twice I have plugged in at a public charger and had to to the maths in my head to understand that it was not delivering enough for full 6.6kwh...more like 2.3. So I have a rough guide on my phone. Using the time to charge displayed on the dash I can determine the rate of delivery to the desired level

6.6kwh in built charger getting full power delivery
21.6% per hour = 6.6kw delivered
10.8% per 30 minutes = 3.3kw delivered
5.4 per 15 min = 1.65kw delivered
Granny charger 2.3kwh
7.55% per hour = 2.3 kw delivered
3.75% per 30 minutes
1.89% per 15 minutes

Some charger providers do have apps that can show real time delivery but not the car or the mymazda app.
