Today we went for a nice little drive in the wonderful spring weather in southern Sweden. Suddenly the car started alarming about one person not being belted in the back seat. The strange thing was; nobody was sitting there. At the same time, the display on the dashboard went black. The belt alarm ended when we fastened the seat belt even though noone was sitting there. Display still black. After a couple of restarts of the car, we unbuckled and the alarm did not go on. But the display is still black. The only thing working is the back camera. Sometimes the display starts up with the Mazda logo but turns black before it comes to the menu.
I will visit my dealer on Monday.

Sometimes owners have accidentally turned off the screen, by long press on the volume button (short press=mute, long press=turn off/on), if you haven't tried already, try a long press on the volume button to see if it turns on.

The display is working again. 😊🙏
Still want to check the belt alarm though.

I've also had the rear seat belt alarm a couple of times now. It's happened only on the middle seat and on one occasion no one was sitting on the seat and the other time the dog was clipped into the seat belt.
