Tesla has opened up some of their superchargers for other car brands.
Of course I had to test it.
I downloaded the Tesla app, registered a payment method and drove the five minutes to the charger.
Cable connected, charging started in the app and ….. yes, it worked fine.

Västra Götaland, Göteborg. Fast charging is mainly for Copenhagen trips a few times a year, my wife is Danish. Charge stalls along E20 are few and far between and tend to be crowded as most places only has 2-4 spots.

If you want to use Tesla, the charging station in Mellbystrand is the last one on the way to Copenhagen. Denmark is unfortunately not included in this project.
By the way, in Mellbystrand there are four new chargers from Recharge.You find them next to the drive thru cashier at Mac Donald’s.

By the way, in Mellbystrand there are four new chargers from Recharge.You find them next to the drive thru cashier at Mac Donald’s.
Mellbystrand is a very good location and will solve many headaches, it allows ~1 hour legs if needed to Denmark. Greve outside Copenhagen has a very good Ionity location, i never charge in Denmark if i can avoid it. They have terrible coverage and the SEK is currently worth nothing.

I also tried here in Karlstad. Worked fine. Something that is good is that you can see the charging speed in the app. But 7.85 SEK / kwh is expensive. But you can sign an agreement for 129 SEK a month, and get electricity for 5.30 SEK / kwh

I do not need super charging enough to warrent a subscription i think, but i agree 7.85 SEK/kWh is expensive. The agreement to Tesla Supercharging is cheaper then Ionity Passport however!

OK it aint cheap but perhaps it strikes a good balance? If you dont use it a a lot it does not really matter. If you plan to use it a lot e g during a holiday subscribe for one month.
The best part is the penalties IF you stay connected to the charger after finishing charging. Tesla wants available chargers and thats the way it should be. Free chargers are often hopeless.Overused by locals who literally want a free ride.

Agree.
I won’t be using it a lot, but it’s good for the charging infrastructure.

Just a quick warning - I follow other E car forums including that for the Honda E and at least 2 Honda E's have suffered damaged Battery Control units as a result of using Tesla Superchargers. I believe that the MX30 has the same battery pack as the Honda, but the Control Units are probably different, but even so....
