So I tried the charger at the whole foods at the mall. Hooked it up tapped my card it said 6.3 Kwh charge rate so I walked off and went to the mall. Come back the thing put 1 mile back on the battery. So I tried the other one. Same thing it shot up to 6.3 Kwh then went to .0034 Kwh. So I think it’s busted.

Then I went down to the waterfront and Plugged it into the DC Level 3 it took 30 minutes to go from 40% to 90% so that was decent.

Got home plugged in my Level 2 and was charging at 7.3 Kwh so it’s not the car.

Companies need to monitor their products so they remain in working order. I had to drive out of my way to use a Quick charger so I could get home at a decent time. If the level 2 had worked I wouldn’t have had to use the level 3 to make up for the lost charge time.

I really do think the car lacks a kw rate of charge display. Had the same problem in the UK. Charger should offer 7kw, car can only take 6.6kw but no indication of what was being received. Before leaving checked % against time to get to 90%, did some calcs in my head and realised it was only giving 2.3kw. The charger may indicate 7kw but that does not mean it is actually supplying it. Moved to the one a few slots away and it delivered the full amount.

Mazda give us a kw rate of charge indication please!
