Hi all I have mentioned this before but am now getting very frustrated. Is it possible to turn off road sign recognition. It may be insignificant to some people but it’s driving me nuts. It is totally useless as it is continually wrong. Any help would be gratefully received.

Love my Mazda and all but sadly you are absolutely right. Its wrong way too often. You have to hand it to Das Auto that this system works better in the id3. The id3 regen brakes where appropriate speed lowered, intersections etc which is kind of funky. Mazda, this feature does not live up to Mazda standards in the MX-30. We know you can do better. Fix it please. Brexit, Lord Frost, lottery standard sign recognition. Mazda, this guy needs a break!!!

Looks like Mazda has done something, there is an VCM (Vehicle Control Module) update now available to address some TSR issues such as:

1) When the vehicle passed a speed limit sign for crossing street in a residential area, lower speed limit than actual is shown in the active driving display.
2) Once a lower speed limit than actual is shown, it continues for a long time.
3) When the vehicle passed a speed limit sign accompanied with a supplemental sign “!”, the speed limit is not shown in the active driving display.

Your local Mazda dealer should be aware, if not ask them to look up TSB R039/22 or SI122909
