Apologies if this has been covered before but I’m desperate. I’ve had my MX30 for three weeks and have been unable to charge via my newly installed EN+ charger. I can charge via the 3 pin plug as well as public pod point chargers.
As soon as I try to use my home charger, it connects fine but stops charging after 10 seconds. TheEN+ app shows fault but resets to standby when I disconnect.
If anybody has any advice I’d be very grateful.

Did it work OK when the installer configured and tested it on the car? Is it a tethered cable or the same one you use at public chargers. It sounds like a signalling fault which may be down to the charger but we need more info. I assume non of the below work.

Smart Charging: Control your charge in 3 ways:
1. Use the EN+ "ChargeIN" app on your mobile phone to schedule your charge and take advantage of off-peak rates, or simply switch to ad hoc start/stop charge mode. Available for Android and Apple smart phones
2. Simply trigger your charge on/off with RFID Touch card (included)
3. Use plug and charge mode as a manual override

Unfortunately I didn’t have the car when the charger was installed. I’ve already had the original charger replaced as it was faulty when I used it. When it was replaced I was at work with the car so didn’t get the opportunity to do it with the engineer present.
Ive deleted and re installed the app with no success

Have you tried the manual options listed above. I still think based on what you have stated so far the charger is the culprit. The app should make no difference if it doesn't charge on the manual option. Could you confirm if the manual option also fails.

Assuming it's the same cable as you use elsewhere it sounds like a charger configuration issue. Sorry but you need the installer back whilst the car is present. It definitely sounds like a signalling issue.

They’re due to come out shortly as I’ve told them to sort it this weekend. Thanks for the advice, I’ve always been a fan of owner’s forums. There’s always somebody like yourself to help

Cubensia, I assume your mx30 has no issues charging at other 7kw chargers, just your home charger. Also is it a tethered cable or do you use the same type 2 cable elsewhere. Single phase or otherwise supply? Strange one if other ev's charge OK using the same cable given the cp and pp functions are identical. Resistance on the cp could be different. Interesting..

Single Phase / Tethered cable
My 7kw was tested on a Zoe
I think there is an issue due to a miss connection on the CP plot
I have to test the MX30 on another 7kw charger

No issue with the original tiny charger provided

WIth my actual 7Kw charger i have been able to charge without error during 10 months

OK, so your charger has been working fine on other vehicles just not the mx30 ok. You haven't tested the 7kw charging elsewhere yet ok. Apologies but I am confused as to "I point out a miss connection on the CP plot" Are you saying you are aware of an issue on the cp signal between the car and the charger or am I just misunderstanding?

Understood. Testing it elsewhere using the supplied type 2 cable would be good to rule out any signalling issues with the car itself. It may well be the charger configuration or tethered cable if the car works fine elsewhere.

Good luck, nice chatting.
