Am035a stops 12v battery drain
Am036a allows high voltage ev battery heater to be manually turned on to aid dc charging in cold weather

Should not notice any difference after update unless the dealer turns on Am036a which reduces range due to battery usage to heat batteries.

Thanks Alan.

So if I understand correctly, I have to go to my dealer to do the last update... Correct ?

Das is doch ein gute Frage. My car has Package DRE1-A1601-A and System software version 8JK9-EE-20K-1.1. (The EE would be DE for you) I have had the software updates but the version didn't change which I find most odd. How do Mazda track what they have done without version change? You will find a video of how to get into Service Mode in the "2 months old and dead as a doornail" thread.
