I live in Ireland and I have always been a Alfa Romeo driver this is my first Mazda and I love this car it’s a great daily drive for what I need it for.

anyways getting back to main question I thought when I was buying this car I would be getting the Bose speakers as apart of the 1st editions. When I picked it up no Bose badge on the door and the base was missing in the boot I was pissed but I was then told I told all the other extras are there this is just the 1st edition didn’t have the Bose speakers which I found strange.

I really like listening to music when in traffic, it’s a good chunk of my evening coming home from work and the basic speakers are grand for what they are, but I really want the Bose speakers are Mazda providing them as fitable upgrades Yet ?

The keyless entry was another missing thing that was advertised to me when I was ordering the car and was another missing feature, the door handles have the little notches for the keyless entry just the option is missing anyone know if this is software or hardware needs to be installed ?

I did get everything else you could think of just the 2 main things I was look for I didn’t 😕.

The answer to q1 is no Mazda does not offer this as a retrofit kit. Both cx30 and mx30 owners would love this to be available! Mazda probably does not think this is commercially viable given the cost of the kit, labour and potential damage to the cars. Some owners have just got a subwoofer installed in the boot by a car audio fitter to improve the system.

Q2 is both h/w and s/w which again Mazda don't go anywhere near.

I think they would prefer you to buy a higher spec model £££€€€$$$

Oddly the same for me here in Southampton (at least for the 2nd part). Advertised and told it had keyless and after I'd been using an MX-30 with this, was very disappointed... Would love to retro fit. I'm sure I'm oversimplifying it but how hard can it be. It has the 'notches' as you say!

You should of refused delivery of the car. You have asked for the Bose system and keyless entry. Then you should of had them on the car during delivery. Period. Dealerships can not force you to take a product that is not to your satisfaction.

Same problem here. Was adviced First edition differ from Hikkari with missing steering wheel heating as well as wipers and lack of fotochromatic mirror. And apparently I do not have a keyless which is kind of nonsense. Retrofit would be great….
