Windows misting up when raining

HI

I have only had my MX 30 a couple of weeks so not sure if this is just normal. I have found that having the ventilation set to Auto, the windows seem to mist up more than I have been used to when it is raining. I have to switch to front and rear demist on every little while to clear the windows. (Which clear quite quickly) Obviously I can leave these on to fix it but wary of using more power.

It seems as if there is little air flow in the cabin in the auto setting, is this just the way it is?

Thanks in advance.

Mine is the same , I just use demist as I need it.

Exactly the same here, it’s a “feature”. Best suggestion is to get a dehumidifier bag off Amazon for about 8 quid and leave it under the floating dash.

I figured out to use airflow to window and floor, re-circulation OFF. The cabin get a tad colder so I heat up a couple of degrees, then I’m fine. Daniel

Thanks for the replies. It is managable, just wondered if it is a common finding on all MX 30s.
I usually use the option to blow on the windshield and legs and put the fan on "2". That clears the situation and keeps it that way. Same thing during winter, automatic always wants to warm up the legs with zero on windshield -> it's easy to just put it on windshield + legs and leave for the whole autumn/winter that way.

Ditto. Much worse when two people or more in the car. Auto climate is terrible. Having driven Volvos for 13 years I never had this problem. Ended up always with manual control, feet and screen, fan at setting 2 as a minimum and recirculation off.
