2. I tried numerous tips to open/close windows & sunroof to no avail. With all the locking & unlocking happening within a short space I did notice an odour inside the car so I suspect something got a little hot.

3. You could use an infrared thermometer and take a reading from the mirror before turning on the rear screen heater (which usually activates the door mirror heaters), and afterwards take another reading from the mirror, to determine if you have it or not.

 

2.) Probably locks got to hot. In my Octavia if you lock/unlock it for a few times without stopping, it disables locks for cca. 1 minute to cool down the locks. And in diagnostic tool you can see error locks overheating.
3.) Huh, I think I tried that and it did not work. Because they were all foggy. I will give it a try next time. In my other cars there is a switch for this .

 

I had exactly the same on the rim of one of the alloy wheels where it meets the tyre. I pulled the end of it and it peeled off in a couple of pieces. Inspecting it seems to be cellophane wrap that’s been put around the wheels to protect them before tyres have been fitted.
